Depending on your child's and family's needs, home-based services may be what you are looking for... your child might be making nice gains at school/office but still is struggling at home. Your child may no longer qualify for school services but still has goals that he/she can work on. Medically or emotionally, home may be the best place for them to receive services. Or you may not be able to add one more thing to your schedule... if so, Speech Stepping Stones may be for your child, and we would love to be a part of their speech and language journey!
This is not your first stop on your child's speech journey. We recommend speaking to your pediatrician about concerns and if warrented, receiving a full speech and language evaluation before coming to us. We DO NOT formally evaluate children to determine disorders/disabilities. We are considered an adjunct or continuation of services to enhance speech and language performance within the home. If desired and appropriate for the child and therapist, services may be administered at a daycare, preschool or at our home office. Please speak to the childcare facility directly to ensure they will allow pediatric speech therapy to be conducted at their site.
Speech Stepping Stones is a private pay therapy service. Payment is due in full on the date the service is provided. Insurance is not accepted as payment for services. However, after payment has been made to Speech Stepping Stones and after services have been rendered, an itemized monthly receipt for you to submit to your insurance company can be provided upon request. Please call your insurance company directly so you can understand your policy for Speech Therapy services.
